Greek Trireme

Personal project. A trireme, the oared warship of the Phoenician, Greek and Roman navies, with three banks of oars and a bronze ram at the bow.

The reconstruction follows the Olympias, the full scale sailing replica built in the 1980s under John Coates and John Morrison, still the only trireme reconstruction to have been sea trialled.
